Brian suffers from Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. It has metastasized to the bone and is beyond curing. Brian was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in April of 2007. He has since gone through radiation and continues with Chemotherapy as well as some trials with new types of cancer treatment.

Due to the overwhelming toll chemotherapy takes on it's patients Brian is sometimes incapacitated for up to a week at a time after receiving treatment. He continuously experiences hot flashes, trouble sleeping and nausea, all of which make it very difficult for him to remain gainfully employed.

Brian lives with his brother in Brooklyn Park, MN. He uses the small amount of money he receives from Social Security Disability to pay bills and play pool a few times a week. Pool is one of Brian's passions, he is very good at it and hopefully will continue to be for years to come. Unfortunately since Brian is receiving Chemotherapy and is unemployed he is unable to live the life he would be living otherwise.
